Tyendinaga Township

Located approximately 10 Km east of the City of Belleville, Tyendinaga Township was created in 1820 from land surrendered to the Crown by the Mohawks of the Tyendinaga Reserve. The Salmon River runs the width of the Township, which features picturesque countryside and hamlets such as Lonsdale, Marysville, Roslin, Blessington, Read, Milltown and Shannonville, as well as numerous antiques, crafts, and pottery shops.
